YFM gives ‘The One’ Reality Show winner dream job as presenter

YFM, Ghana’s number one urban radio station, has fulfilled its promise by offering Dennis Cobblah, winner of the maiden edition of ‘The One’ reality show, a job as a radio presenter.

The 26-year-old Dennis Cobblah, who emerged winner of the most innovative radio reality show, currently hosts the ‘Top 20 Countdown’ on YFM every Monday to Thursday from 10pm to 12am.

According to Ms Naa, General Manager of YFM, the opportunity offered to Dennis was as a result of his handwork and dedication during the competition.

“YFM is noted for grooming young and raw talents. This is an opportunity for Dennis to learn from some of the best in the industry. We are happy to have him as part of the family and we will do our best to help him succeed,” Ms Naa said.

Commenting on his new job, Dennis said “I am happy to be working with a big platform like YFM. I will avail myself to learn on the job and I will entreat all my fans to tune in and listen to me from Mondays to Thursdays at 10pm.”

It can be recalled that Dennis Cobblah emerged winner of the six weeks reality show which was full of fun and excitement as 10 contestants exhibited their talents in order to outwit each other for the coveted prize. The practical activities in the reality show also made the contestants realise that being a radio presenter wasn’t an easy thing.

‘The One’ is an innovative radio reality show focused on grooming a young individual who is creative, charismatic, ambitious, funny and most importantly is extremely passionate about being a radio presenter. ‘The One’ is a game changer from the stables of the most listened to youth radio station in Ghana, YFM.
