Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi Boasiako, popularly known as 'Chairman Wontumi' has promised to donate GHC120,000 to Ultimate FM, the EIB Network's flagship station in Kumasi.Â
The amount which will come in GHC10,000 instalments each month of the year is to help fund the education brilliant but needy students.
He made the donation during an interview with Bola Ray on a special edition of Starr Chat which was broadcast from the Ultimate FM studios in Kumasi on Wednesday.
According to Bola Ray, the station was going to institute a fund with the monthly donations and run a promotion to select beneficiaries of the fund.
