Karbo for deputy roads minister; Kwarteng for deputy finance minister

The Member of Parliament for Lawra Constituency in the Upper West Region, Anthony Karbo, has been chosen as the deputy minister of roads and highways, it has been reported.

President Akufo-Addo will soon offcially appoint him to the position, according to a report by Accra-based Kasapa FM.

Karbo will report to Kwesi Amoako Atta, who was named as minister for roads and highways on Wednesday.

The report also states that Madam Fatima Abubakar will be named deputy communications minister.

Akufo-Addo has announced that Madam Ursulu Owusu-Ekuful will head that ministry.

Messrs Kweku kwarteng and Charles Adu Boahen are also expected to be named deputy ministers of finance.

They will report to Ken Ofori Attah, who was appointed by Akufo-Addo on Tuesday.
