Former Attorney General and Foreign Affairs minister in the Kufuor regime, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo says he will implement every pledge he’s made when voted for as Ghana’s next president.

Amid other pledges, the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) Presidential aspirant has mentioned setting up 1 factory for every district, implement the Free Senior High School programme, improve the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) and transform the economy swiftly.

Speaking at Abbey Park in Manhyia in the Ashanti Region, Nana appealed to the enthusiastic NPP loyalist:

“When God enables me to win, I shall breathe life into the NHIS. Every constituency will be given an equivalent of $1m every year to pursue developmental projects.”

Disregarding talks his pledge were vain and unattainable, Nana Addo uttered “I am not boastful to make vain promises to Ghanaians which won’t be delivered.”

He rallied the electorates to come out in their numbers to vote on December 7 stressing his victory will depend on the margin of victory he secures in the region.

On the 2nd day of his tour of the Ashanti Region, Nana visited the Manhyia South, Atwima Nwabiagya North, Adansi Asokwa and Kwadaso constituencies.
