Hassan Ayariga, the founder of the All People’s Congress (APC), has opened fire on Nana Akufo-Addo, the presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party, describing him as an expired product.
Ayariga told ghanapoliticsonline.com that at 72, Akufo-Addo was weak and would not be able to carry out his responsibility as president.
“If Nana wins, he’s not the one going to manage this nation and since the NPP are refusing to let us know who will manage the nation if they win, we don’t have to make any mistake by voting for them,†he said.
He warned that a victory for Akufo-Addo on Wednesday would spell doom for Ghana, adding that Nigeria’s economy had been destroyed under the leadership of Muhammadu Buhari, who took over from Goodluck Jonathan.
He said it for Akufo-Addo to retire from politics and relax at home.
“Nana Addo’s time is over. When you are expired you expired and you need to rest. Nana not a good match for John mahama,†he said.
