President Nana Akufo-Addo creates new ministries

President Nana Akufo-Addo has introduced new ministries as he released the second batch of ministerial nominees today.

The new ministries are, the Ministry of Regional Re-organisation with Member of Parliament for Okere, Dan Botwe to head that Ministry and the Ministry of Railways Development to be headed by former Second Deputy Speaker, Joe Nana Ghartey.

There is also the Ministry for Monitoring and Evaluation, which would be headed by Dr. Akoto Osei as Minister.

A new Ministry of Sanitation and Water Resources has also been created as part of efforts to make sanitation a priority in the NPP administration.

The ministry will be headed by Joseph Kofi Adda, MP for Navrongo Central.

In all 12 ministerial nominees have been named bringing the total number of nominees to 25 as the rest would be named on Friday according to the President.
