More seats in the bag for the NPP. One of the very vociferous person’s in the New Patriotic Party(NPP), Ursula Owusu Ekuful has convincingly won the Ablekuma West Parliamentary seat to join the tall list of party gurus to remain in Ghana’s house of legislature.

She recorded over 34,000 votes while her closest National Democratic Congress(NDC) contender had a little above 20,000 votes.

According to the newly elected Parliamentarian, the win confirms the fact that Ghanaians have had enough of the NDC and needed a change.

She stressed that, the NPP has already won the elections and waiting on the EC to declare them as winners in order to begin the progressive initiatives for the country.

Despite the challenges the party faces in Ablekuma West she said, there is no doubt that they are united behind the Elephant and that is what ensured her victory.

She added that, the majority of constituents are happy with her performance and wish she continues to lead them as would ensure the confidence reposed in her is not wasted.

He asked all party supporters to throw their weight behind President Nana Akufo-Addo and the team that he would assemble to ensure the country benefits from the change in government and forge ahead in unity and deliver true development to the people.
