Founding member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr Nyaho Nyaho Tamakloe has stated that his party's presidential candidate Nana Akufo-Addo does not have what it takes to win the upcoming presidential elections.

According to him, unlike former President J.A. Kufuor who used his tremendous experience in politics to bring the party together leading to his win, Akufo-Addo does not have such experience to pull that same trick.

Speaking in a video interview with ghanapoliticsonline, Dr Tamakloe who was suspended in January, this year following a petition by one Stephen Asante that he [Nyaho] was conducting himself in a way that undermined the peace and unity within the party, stated that the state of the NPP now does indicate a party which could give Akufo-Addo his much-needed victory.

"I don't believe he will win because all along, he is being bloated by the media and he thinks he will win", he stated, adding that Ghanaians will learn a bitter lesson of leadership if he were to win".

He further declared that he was going to vote for a very competent person who can handle this country quietly which he added was definitely going to be John Mahama.
