New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential aspirant, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufu-Addo was at Asawasi in the Ashanti Region on tour where he informed the people, it is only the NPP which can wrestle power from the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC).
He urged the electorates to give his good self and party a chance to serve, cautioning defeated and aggrieved parliamentary aspirants that going independent was not the way to go.
“There is no political party like the NPP which has the organisation and structure to capture power from the NDC,†he thundered to an elated crowd.
At Atwima Kwahuma and Kromuasi, he pledged to erect a ginger factory for the inhabitants. Speaking on behalf of 58 chiefs, Nana Yaw Owusu, the ‘Enpabuahene’ of Otumfuor Osei Tutu II pledged his people’s support and vote for the NPP candidate saying “when we pour libation, we remember you. You are one of us.â€
He prayed his people to vote for Nana Addo so he captures power and dethrones Dramani Mahama because he will honour his pledges.
