Four-time AFCON winner, Cameroon came from a goal down to beat debutants Guinea-Bissau 2-1 in their Group A game.

The win, which happens to be the first win in the group after three draws, places Cameroon on top of the table with four points.

The debutants took an early lead after a brilliant solo run by Piqueti in the 13th minute.

They looked threatening and had a goal-bound shot cleared off the line ending the first 1-0 in their favour.

But Cameroon came back from recess strongly and equalised in the 61st minute through captain of the day, Siani.

With a little over ten minutes to end the game, Ngadeu sent home a powerful shot from the edge of the box after man-of-the-match, Bassogog laid back a pass.

Try as they did, Guinea-Bissau could not find an equaliser.
