Coach Avram Grant is optimistic the Black Stars of Ghana will defeat Egypt on Sunday when they clash in World Cup Qualifier.
Speaking at the team’s camp in Dubai ahead of the match he said, “there are equally good players who are willing to play and ensure victory for the Stars.â€
He added that, the game is very important to the Stars and the absence of the skipper should not affect the team as they need to get a win in Egypt.
According to him, the Pharaoh’s are delighted about the absence of the skipper but he is certain that deputy captain, Andre Dede Ayew would step into his shoes and lead the Stars to an important victory.
He stressed that the players are very determined and working hard to ensure that they walk away with the three points.
