Ghana international Albert Adomah was on the scoresheet for English Championship side Aston Villa as they won 2-0 against Birmingham City.
Villa recorded a 2-0 win over Birmingham City to maintain their quest to return to the Premiership remain on course.
The Ghanaian scored his 14th goal on the hour mark to put Villa ahead.
Conor Hourihane made it 2-0 with 9 minutes left to play as the home side snatched valuable points to keep their second position on the table.
