Accra Hearts of Oak scored at last but were denied three points for the third consecutive time as they were held 1-1 by Ebusua Dwarfs in their Week Three Ghana Premier League fixture on Wednesday.

Hearts’ opening two games of the 2017 GPL season ended goalless but finally found the back of the net in their third game hoping to walk away with three points but their opponents had separate ideas.

The Phobians scored in the ninth minute through Patrick Razak and held on to their lead till recess but unfortunately gave it away in early minutes of the second half.

Dwarfs equalized in the 47th minute through Nicholas Gyan’s superb header before Hearts could settle into the game.

The visitors, Hearts then woke up from their slumber and pressed on for the winner but the home side were resilient at defense and ensured that they shared the spoils at the end of the game.

It was another frustrating game for Hearts as they continue to search for a win after playing three games.
