Arsenal qualified for the knockout stage of the UEFA Champions for the 17th time in a row after coming back from two goals down to beat Ludogorets 3-2 in Sofia.

Jonathan Cafu put the Bulgarian champions ahead and then set up Claudiu Keseru to make it 2-0 to Ludogorets inside  fifteen minutes.

However, Granit Xhaka and Olivier Giroud scored to haul the Gunners back level before the break, before Mesut Ozil's fine late strike on it.

In other matches, Manchester City stunned Barcelona  after came from behind to beat the Spanish side 3-1 at the Etihad Stadium.

Barca went ahead through a Lionel Messi which happened to be his 90th Champions League goal.

City, equalised in the 39th minute after Raheem Sterling took advantage of a Sergi Roberto mistake to set up Gundogan.

Kevin De Bruyne gave them the lead through a free-kick on 51 minutes with Gundogan getting the third later on.

Barcelona remain top of Group C and need only draw away to Celtic in their next game to progress, while City now know a win away to Borussia Moenchengladbach next time out will take them through.

French side Paris Saint-Germain, Atletico Madrid and German champions Bayern Munich also qualified for the last 16 on Tuesday.
