Assistant coach of the Black Stars Maxwell Konadu says the team would perform better in their next World Cup qualifying game against Egypt next month.

The Stars have not won four of the last game played including a draw in their first final World Cup qualification match against Uganda in Tamale and Tuesday draw in a friendly with South Africa.

Speaking to the press in South Africa after the match, the Assistant coach said the game would serve as an important exercise going into the match against Egypt.

“Things would be better and we are sure to put up an appreciable performance against Egypt and possibly win the game,” he stated.

Both teams he said played very well as Ghana took control of the first half while South Africa came back strongly to also play better in the second half.

South Africa undoubted has great talents and believe they have a generation that would do well and qualify for the next AFCON.

Though they would have been glad if they won the game, he said it was also used as an opportunity to test some players.

He said, they are not too worried about the fact that they have not won any of their last four games but would try to stop conceding unexpected goals.

He also admitted that the ‘fight’ between the Ghana Football Association (GFA) can affect the team psychologically and pray it comes to an end.
