US Republican presidential candidate, Donald Trump has  come under a lot of attacks for his controversial posturing and comments with the latest being the destruction of is star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Mr Trump's star, awarded to him in 2007 and located at 6801 Hollywood Blvd, was smashed up earlier today bby one Jamie Otis, who took credit for the destruction.
Otis posed as a construction worker to fool anyone walking past and used a pick axe to smash the embedded terrazzo and brass star to bits.
According to reports, Otis claims he would auction off the removed star to raise money for the women who have come forward to accuse Trump of sexually assaulting them over the decades.Â
Los Angeles police are investigating the case.
Otis' attack comes just two weeks after a Florida photograper, Emily Robinson incensed by Trump's comments which suggested that he endorses sexual assaults on women, mailed him hair from her private part as contribution to his campaign.
