Former Black Stars goalkeeper and current goalkeeper's trainer Richard Kingson has threatened to resign from the job.

His reason is that there is lack of transparency at the Ghana Football Association as his club Emmanuel FC is being denied justice by the GFA’s judicial body regarding promotion to the Division One league next season.

“I’m ready to follow this issue to the latter no matter what it takes. Even if it will take me to quit football and resign as goalkeeper’s trainer I will do it for the truth to come out”.

"It’s easy for me quit because I can’t be part of a system which is not transparent,” he said.

“So I plead with those who will be in charge of this case to be unbiased," he said in an interview on Asempa FM’s Avenue Two Sports Show.

The 39-year old has promised to follow up the issue till justice prevails as he feels his club is been treated unfairly.
