The Black Starlets will face host Gabon in their second Under 17 African Youth Championship group game today(Wednesday).

Ghana walloped Cameroon 4-0 in their first group game on Sunday and are looking forward to another win to secure qualification to the semi-final.

Captain Eric Ayiah and winger Ibrahim Sulley each scored twice to earn the Black Starlets three points in their first game at Stade de Port-Gentil.

A semi-final berth automatically qualifies the team to the U-17 World Cup to be held in India later in the year and Ghana would be hoping to get through before their last group game against Guinea.

Speaking ahead of the match, coach Paa Kwesi Fabian said, they expect a very tough game against the host nation but believe his boys would do their best to get a win.

"We know it would be a very tough game but we came to make a mark and need to  get the right results".

Both teams are going into the game with three points each, having won their opening matches.
