Bawumia's friend to replace George Blankson as GRA boss

A close confidante of the Vice President has been pencilled to replace George Blankson as the Commissioner-General Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA), information available suggests.

Mr Blankson whose tenure has expired is reported to have proceeded on leave on pending his retirement.

According to our sources, a tax policy advisor who worked at the Ministry of Finance under the Kufuor administration, Mr Kofi Nti will soon be announced as the head of the Authority.

With his research skills, he is believed to be one of the main pillars behind his Dr Mahamudu Bawumia's many lectures when the NPP was in oppositioin.

Mr Nti is a banker, economist, statistician, accountant and tax expert with experience spanning over thirty (30) years and has also taught at some universities in Ghana.
