2017 Ghana CEO summit launched

The rapid changes in the market for labour, products and services as well as in the general business environment as driven by a diversified workforce, brought together by communication technology has created the need for a continuous upgrade. 

That is what the 2017 CEO summit in Accra which will be under the theme, Digital Innovation Economy for Business Growth” is aiming at addressing through its provision of a forum for honest discussion about the challenges as well as possible remedies to the advancement of digital innovation in the country.

Commenting on the forthcoming conference, Chief Executive Network Ghana’s CEO and facilitators of the event, Mr. Ernest De-Graft Egyir said building a digital economy “starts with Awareness, and this is why the CEO Summit creates a platform to discuss issues such as this to create the awareness and find solutions”.

He further reacted to the government’s commitment in engaging the private sector as a tool for national development by saying, “Government has no business doing business”, asserting his hope for a greater partnership between the public and private sector players in creating a conducive environment for businesses to thrive.

 The 2017 Ghana CEO Summit is expected to host over 500 CEOs, business leaders, government functionaries and entrepreneurs of start -ups as well as established or known brands from within and outside the country and is slated to hold on the 22nd to 23rd of May, 2017 in the Ghana’s capital - Accra.
