Narcotic substances worth over $2million have been burnt by the Narcotics Control Board (NACOB) at Bundase Training Camp at Prampram in the Greater Accra Region.

The substances destroyed include cocaine, cannabis sativa, heroin, methamphetamine among others intercepted at the various entry ports of the country.

Deputy Executive Secretary of NACOB, Michael Addo, said the action on Thursday followed a court order approving the destruction of the narcotics seized from drug dealers between 2003 and 2016, a period of 13 years.

In a related development, NACOB on Wednesday seized property belonging to convicted drug dealer Nayele Ametefe and donated them to three rehab centres in the country
