It was 11 pm on Thursday, July 5, 2018, at the Eastern Regional capital, Koforidua, and business activities at the Central Business District looked like a normal daytime.
Hundreds of people were still selling due to the arrival of delegates and party supporters for impending National Delegates Conference of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), scheduled for Saturday, July 7, 2018.
These Khebab sellers told Prime News Ghana that they have started cashing in because of the influx of people into Koforidua.
They said sales have increased tremendously even though most of the delegates and party supporters are yet to arrive.
They said they had no closing time and would only close when they run out of stock, because people were still trooping to purchase either meat or sausage.
