It's official! Beyonce has finally come to TikTok, amassing a slew of followers in just a matter of hours... if that.

The 40-year-old singer joined the popular social media platform at some point on Thursday evening, and it didn't take long for her fans in the 'Beyhive' to find out.

Without just a matter of hours (possibly less), Queen Bey's verified TikTok has amassed over 50K followers, though she hasn't posted anything yet.

One of the first to reveal Beyonce had joined TikTok is the Instagram fan page b.gcarter, who posted a screengrab of her home page, with just 474 followers.

Sony Music U, a college music division of Beyonce's label Sony, tweeted about her arrival on TikTok a half-hour later, and she had just under 20K followers.

The singer just passed 50K followers, just over an hour later, though it's unclear what kind of content the singer plans on posting.
She still has quite a way to go to match or surpass her massive followings on other social media platforms, but she's off to quite a good start.

Beyonce joined Twitter in April 2009, and she has amassed over 15.5 million followers there.

She only follows 10 users on Twitter - sister Solange Knowles, former Destiny's Child members Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, along with author DeRay McKeeson, Usher, Mariah Carey, stylist Ty Hunter, composer Angie Beyince, fan source BeyonceWeb and her BeyGood foundation.

She joined Instagram in 2012, amassing over 224 million followers, though she never followed anyone... until last month.

Her husband Jay-Z made a surprising debut on Instagram to promote the new Netflix Western he was producing, The Harder They Fall.

For the first time since joining the 'Gram, Beyonce followed Jay-Z, and he followed her back as his only follower, though it was quite short-lived.

The rapper deactivated his Instagram after just one day, where he amassed over 2 million followers, with Beyonce now back to following no one on Instagram.

Bey hasn't recorded a new album since her groundbreaking 2016 album Lemonade, though she did recently release a new song.
The singer released Be Alive in November, which is part of the soundtrack to the new biopic King Richard, about the father of Serena and Venus Williams.
