Ghanaian rapper and musician Peter Famiyeh Bozah, known as Fameye has donated relief items to the victims of the Apietse explosion.

The singer was on vacation in Europe when the Western Regional community was hit with a tragedy. A truck conveying dynamites for a mining company was involved in an accident with a motorbike.

Reacting to the news, Fameye who hails from Bogoso promised to return to Ghana to sympathize with his people.

"I saw the news last night but I didn't want to post anything about it because most times when these issues happen everyone has what he or she will say. So I had to wait and call people from the town to verify if it is true.

"Apietse is one area that I know. I have been there before, it is not in Bogoso but it is just close to Bogoso. It is just like Bogoso is the capital of these towns," Fameye said on TV3 after the explosion.
