Shatta Wale believes he has worked very hard towards the release of the much talked about the album and he was not surprised to see "The Reign" album making it to the 6th place on the World Album Chart on the Billboard.Â
The dancehall act released the album at a mammoth concert at the Fantasy Dome at the Trade Fair Centre in Accra on Saturday, October 13.
Shortly after the release, some persons criticized the album with some describing it as ‘trash’.The 17-track ‘Reign’ album has songs like ‘Gringo’, ‘Bend Over’, ‘I Regret’, ‘If I See’ and ‘Wonder’ featuring Nigeria’s Olamide, the only artiste featured on the album.

However, Shatta Wale in an exclusive with Daniel Dadzie on JoyFM disclosed that everything that is happening doesn't really surprise him because this was what he has been praying.
He added that he and his team are working to sell Ghana to the world and also to let people know the kind of music produced here.
