Shatta Wale is in the news again and this time throwing jabs at Sarkodie describing the rapper as ‘hyporcite and a small boy’ who does not match up to his[Shatta Wale]level.

“Sarkodie is a very small boy for me, Sarkodie is my junior when it comes to music. He has told me before that I should produce him; ‘Bandana’ days when he was hustling. So, I think he has forgotten, he feels I am his colleague now because I look younger than him now. I knew him when he was upcoming, but right now he feels he has grown” he stated.

After Shatta Wale described Ghanaian artistes as poor in an interview with Arnold Mensah Elevanyo, Sarkodie subsequently released a diss track dubbed “My Advice” where he threw shots at Shatta Wale.

However, Shatta Wale said he will not reply to the ‘My Advise’ diss track which was released days before his ‘REIGN’ album was launched because he does not see the need to reply a rapper whiles he is a dancehall artiste.

“Why should I even reply a rapper whiles I am a dancehall artiste? He[Sarkodie]is lost, it is not done in the world, he doesn’t know the job he is doing” he stated.

The dancehall artiste further called the award-winning rapper an ‘egotistic hypocrite’, in an interview on Joy FM’s super morning show with Daniel Dadzie on Friday, 26 October 2018.

“He is so hypocritical when he comes on the radio he wants to keep that fame. Fame comes with a lot of egos but I don’t have that ego… I don’t want to fake my life, I believe they are faking and the kind of attitude they are showing, it is going to worry the next generation,” he added

“In the history of Ghana, no artiste has come up like me. Ghanaians should appreciate it and just support it,” he stressed.
