The Chief of Asamankese Traditional Area under the Akyem Abuakwa Traditional Council in the Eastern Region, Osabarima Adu Darko III, known in private life as Odehye Kwasi Obeng, has been made to vacate the stool.
A giant statue in honour of the Asantehene, Otumfuor Osei Tutu II was on Tuesday unveiled in Kumasi.
Erected to mark his 17 years on the golden stool was Â financed by DDP, an advertising company and was constrcuted with technical support from Urban roads department of the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly(KMA).
