18-Yr-Old OWASS Student Killed While Separating Rival Brawl

An 18-year old student of Opoku Ware Senior High School has been stabbed to death after he went to separate two rivals who were engaged in a scuffle at Amasaman.

Isaac Kwesi Amponsah, according to The Finder Newspaper, met this unfortunate fate when attempted make peace between two men who were fighting over a lady. the 

The suspect, Justine Abban, 32, a driver, who hails from Saltpond in the Central Region, was engaged in a fight with one Frank Kwabena Owusu, a.k.a. Taller, when the deceased tried to intervene.

Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP), Effia Tenge, Public Relations Officer of the Accra Region Police Command, who confirmed the incident according to the report, stated that the incident took place at Oshuiman, a suburb of Amasaman, at about 6.30am yesterday.

It was gathered that the suspect chased the deceased and stabbed him in the neck.

According to her, the police got the information at about 8am and proceeded to the scene. On arrival, they rushed the victim to the Police Hospital but he was pronounced dead.

However, the victim was subjected to beatings from a mob that held him down till the police arrived.

The lady at the centre of the scuffle and Frank are currently at large. The body of the deceased has since been deposited at the Police Hospital.
