St. Peter's Senior High School affectionately called PERSCO has qualified to the Semi-final of the National Science and Maths Quiz after beating Wesley Girls' and one of Greater Accra's finest schools St Thomas Aquinas.
St. Peter's Senior High School scored a massive point of 63, while Wesley Girls' had 36 and St. Thomas Aquinas scored 28.
With the introduction of the GCB Bank's Money Zone, each point of the competing schools at the quarter-final stage is worth Five Ghana Cedis(GHS5), which will be paid out to each of the three competitors and their teacher.
St Thomas Aquinas received a total of GHS560 as a cash price from GCB Bank Ltd, while Wesley Girls' received a total of GHS720, and St Peter's SHS received GHS1260.
The Quarter Finals stage spans from June 28th- June 30, and Semi-Finals on July 2, 2018.
The Grand Finale of the NSMQ 2018 will be held on Thursday, July 5, 2018.
