Regent of the Abudu royal family Boling-Lana Mahamadu Abdulai has received a brand new Toyota Fortuner from President John Mahama.
The Black V8, licensed GN 7732-16, Â which reports suggests, is in fulfilment of the President Mahama's promise to the Boling Lana some time ago was reportedly given to the chief days before the President begun his campaign tour of the Northern region.
A Spokesman for the Abudu Royals in Dagbon, Abdullah Abubakari told the media the family is grateful to the President for living up to his word.
He however called on government to remain committed to the roadmap in ensuring absolute peace and tranquility in Dagbon.
“We will like to urge him to continue to do what he wants to do for Dagbon and that is to perform the funerals of the late Yaa-Naa Mahamadu Abdulai IV and that of the late Yaa-Naa Yakubu Andani II", he said according to starrfmonline.
