Gifty Afenyi-Dadzie National Prayer Director and National President of Aglow Ghana Mrs Dorothy Danso amongst others are nowhere to be found on the list of 2017 Most Influential Women in Ghana.

Mrs. Dorothy Danso is an effective communicator, motivator and a much sought-after conference speaker highly respected for maintaining order and discipline in the body of Christ.

Mrs Gifty Affenyi-Dadzie served as a Council of State Member under the former President Kufuor's administration,  she took a leadership position in Aglow International as the National Prayer Director, where she and her other executive members lifted their service to God and country to a very high level, sacrificing their time and money every month to pray for the nation.

WomanRising, a network of The African Network of Entrepreneurs (TANOE) is noted for compiling the list of the 100 Most Influential Women in Ghana (100 MIWG) annually since 2016.

The list, curated by TANOE Research, was instituted to celebrate and acknowledge women who are breaking grounds, blazing trails, shattering glass ceilings and taking tougher roles in Ghana.

The 2017 list, which cut across 10 sectors, including Media, Politics, Business, Religion, Academia, Music, Film, Health, Fashion and Leadership features 2 sisters; Farida Bedwei and Aisha Bedwei and a mother and daughter; Zanetor Rawlings and Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings.

But to the surprise of many Ghanaians, some renowned women in Ghana were missing from the 2017 Most Influential Women in Ghana.

In justifying why some renowned Ghanaian Women missed out on the list, Prince Akpah, Head of TANOE Research told Prime News the four key criteria used were; consistency, National appeal, Social impact, and motivating story.

He added that there is a possibility several influential women appeared on the mega list but could not make it to the short-listed numbers because their works in 2017 could not meet the criteria.
