Lawmaker for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong, has warned National Security Minister Albert Kan-Dapaah not to dare arrange any arrest of any member of the Delta Force vigilante group.

Commenting on the recent attack by members of the pro-NPP vigilante group Delta Force on the Regional Security Coordinator of Ashanti on Adom TV’s morning show ‘Badwam’ today March 30 said;

“Anyone should dare not put any of the Delta Force guys on trial, I would personally lead demonstrations against the NPP and Kan-Dapaah. …Nana Addo didn’t win easily, we fought and these boys were at the war front when they were fighting…” he yelled.

Per Primenewsghana’s earlier report, over 100 members of the incumbent New Patriotic Party (NPP) affiliated vigilante group Delta Force on Friday March 23 2017, attacked the Ashanti Regional Security Coordinator, George Adjei, in an attempt to expel him from his office.

The Ashanti Region based vigilante group of the ruling NPP wants their favourite, a man identified only as Mohammed, to be appointed as Regional Security Coordinator.

However, the maverick politician, Kennedy Agyapong has supported the actions of the vigilante group saying the Delta Force helped to make the incumbent New Patriotic Party what they are today.

"They put their lives on the line and defended the NPP when the Police and the government were against us, I would have clapped for them and urged them to slap the man… When I was charged with treason, who came to intervene? It was Ursula who was slapped at Odododiodioo…where was Kan-Dapaah? We win power and they all join the bandwagon”
