Dr Edmund Ayo Ani, Managing Director of  Marbles and Granitez, a quarry company, has been picked up by the Bureau of National Investigations (BNI) in connection with some pictures taken showing vehicles allegedly meant for the NCCE (National Commission for Civic Education), being branded with NDC colours.

His lawyer, Nana Adjei Baffuor, who confirmed the incident on Joy FM's Newsfile on Saturday said his client who is being accused of leaking some pictures was  arrested with two of his security men on Friday while at work by a Police SWAT team and taken to the Cantonments Police Station.

The pictures which has gone viral on social media showing at least 50 Mahindra 4x4 vehicles being sprayed in NDC colours at a mechanic shop near his office on the Spintex Road has sparked another round of what some believe is an abuse of office and incumbency ahead of the general elections in November 2016,

Considering the angles of the pictures, it is being inferred that the photos were captured from the Managing Director’s company.
