The Vice President of Central University, Professor Bill Puplampu has debunked reports suggesting that the university is on the verge of collapsing.
Media reports in the past few weeks have suggested the school was in crisis and facing imminent closure.
Issues cited included the unavailability of light, water, and furniture in lecture halls.

He stated that, in an inaugural lecture at the University of Ghana two years ago, he made it clear that institutions that go down face government challenges, technology challenges and institutional challenges.
He, however, made it clear that the Central University is not facing any of these challenges.
