Ms Cynthia Morrison who is the Gender Minister has adopted a two-year-old boy who was buried alive in Elmina in the Central Region.
Kweku Lentil, who is the little boy suffers from cerebral palsy, is a neurological disorder that affects a child's movement, motor skills, and muscle tone.
He was barely a year when he was left to die as he was buried in an uncompleted building.
He was, however, rescued by some labourers who were working on the uncompleted building and has since been under the care of paediatric unit of the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital.
It is still unclear who decided to bury the boy. Ms Morrison chanced upon the boy when he went to the hospital on Sunday to vist the 5-year old boy who has been amputated after his stepmother inflicted cutlass wounds on him.
The story of the Kweku surprised the Gender Minister and she said she would adopt and enrol him in her school.
