Jamestown, arguably one of the most artistic and historical spaces in the country, will once again host the rest of the country to the  2017 edition of Chale Wote festival.

Arguably the biggest street show in the country, it has evolved from a talk program into a platform offering opportunities for creative but unnoticed artists to exhibit their god-given talents to the world.

From spoken word and graffiti artists, musicians and writers, the show has become one to look forward to in the month of August, where visitors are exposed to some of the most unimaginable crafts by these artists, mostly a blend of established and underground ones.

This year’s festival started on Monday with series of events including writers workshop led by writer and Director of the Aidoo Centre for Creative Writing, Nii Ayikwei Parkes at Brazil House with 8 selected writers.
