The people of Bole have been hit with a curfew after their lastest chieftaincy dispute that left 2 dead.

The curfew starts from 6:00p.m. to 6:00a.m. effective, Monday, December 10, 2018.

This latest curfew will affect many businesses. The government has called on the chiefs, elders, opinion leaders, youth and the entire indigenes of the area to be calm in the face of all these challenges.

Meanwhile, there is a total ban on all persons in the aforementioned communities and its environs from carrying arms, ammunition or any offensive weapon and any persons found with any arms or ammunition will be arrested and prosecuted.

The fresh dispute claimed the lives of two persons, left others injured and some houses burnt to ashes.

The fighting is between supporters of two individuals of the same royal family who have laid competing claims over the Bole skin. It sparked Monday morning after an attempted parallel enskinment by both factions.
