The family of Pastor Ato Kessie, the Head Pastor  of the Seventh-Day Adventist (SDA) Church in Dansoman, who lost five members in a bizarre fire outbreak last week, is urging Ghanaians to support the man of God in prayers and in kind.

The family said those who wish to support him can also do so because he is empty now.

Spokesperson for the family, Frank Owusu, who made the call on Okay FM which was monitored by PrimeNewsGhana, explained that Pastor Ato Kessie is yet to start life all over again, hence the need for Ghanaians to support him.

The wife of Pastor Ato Kessie, his two children and his mother-in-law and the wife’s niece were burnt to ashes when fire gutted their storey building apartment at Akoko Foto, a suburb of Dansoman in Accra.

The family was reported to have been trapped by the security burglar proof at the entrance of their room and could not run out of the house while the fire raged on.

Funeral and burial service was held on Sunday August 26, 2018, at Methodist University College Dansoman.

The late family was buried at Gbawe Cemetery.
