‘Get small scale miners back to work’ – Kofi Akpaloo to gov’t

The Liberal Party of Ghana (LPG) has appealed to President Akufo-Addo and his government to as a matter of urgency, get small-scale miners to work.

The Leader of the LPG, Kofi Akpaloo, who made the appeal said, their activities have an economic implications in the country so the government must make sure they are back to work.

Delivering a solidarity message at the ongoing 26th National Annual Delegates Conference at Koforidua in the Eastern Region, Mr Akpaloo said “Nana Akofo-Addo should be congratulated. They have delivered and they are on course. They are doing fantastic.

He said, “one thing I will urge of you is the small-scale mining…if something can be done to get those guys to work, it will help because their activities have an economic impact on the nation.
