A Ghanaian living in the UK has been jailed 20 years for his role in a cocaine smuggling deal at the Heathrow Airport in the United Kingdom, UK.
Wilfred Owusu, 30, was arrested together with 12 others in December 2016 for dealing in over 100 kilograms of cocaine.
The drug smugglers led by two corrupt baggage handlers imported £32 million of cocaine through Heathrow before they were arrested by border police.

The baggage handlers in their attempt to help sneak the cases out of the airport were spotted by security agents on CCTV footage at the airport and arrested.
On Tuesday, 17 April 2018, the syndicate was jailed for a total of 139 years in prison.
Another Ghanaian, Felicia Owusu, who served as a pick-up agent to the drug smugglers at the airport, will be sentenced on 1 June 2018 due to ill-health.
