Ghana Post is cautioning the general public against impersonators who promise to produce the Ghana Post Address system in their homes for money.

Such persons are taking advantage of the recent exercise being conducted by their outfit to extort money from vulnerable citizens. This is according to authorities of Ghana Post.

Management of Ghana Post has begun a nationwide exercise to register Ghanaians on its digital address system.


Speaking in an interview with Citi News monitored by Prime News Ghana, in Koforidua as part of a public sensitization exercise by Ghana Post, Kobihemaa Osisiadan Bekwoen, Corporate Head of Communications at Ghana Post warned the general public to be vigilant and mindful of such persons.

“Tagging plates is optional so you may choose not to have it after we take you through the processes, and you know how to generate your digital address. Or we may write it down for you after we help you generate it. If you want us to write on your wall, we can do that too. Alternatively, if you want to save the address on your phone, we will help you save it.”
