The Minsitry of Health (MoH) has been directed to release fifteen million, six hundred and sixty thousand cedis (GHC 15,660,000.00) for disbursement to nursing trainees.
The amount is payment for the allowances 34,800 student nurses for the period of July-September 2016 at GHC 150.00 per each month.
In a letter igned by the Deputy Minister of Finance, Cassiel Ato Forson, the (MoH) was directed to pay the amount from their 2016 Compensation of Employees Vote.
