Former President Jerry Rawlings says on several occasions at different places former Minister of Foreign Affairs Hannah Tetteh disrespected his wife, Nana Konadu Agyemang-Rawlings.

Speaking at a Town Hall meeting of cadres and NDC activists at the Arts Centre in Accra on Saturday 17 March 2018, Jerry President Rawlings disclosed that Hanna Tetteh, on three occasions he could recollect, had acted with disdain towards Nana Konadu Agyemang-Rawlings.

Recounting the first encounter, Jerry Rawlings said it was at an NDC congress in Tamale where the former minister insulted Nana Konadu.

Jerry Rawlings continued that Hanna Tetteh repeated a similar unruly behaviour during a gathering to celebrate Ghana's independence anniversary.

Describing the incident, he said in shaking Nana Konadu's hand as part of dignitaries, Hanna Tetteh gave the former first lady an unusually tight grip probably with an intention to hurt her.

The former President stated that had it not being the disdain behaviour of Hanna Tetteh he will have openly campaign for her in the 2016 elections when she was seeking re-elections as an MP for Awutu-Senya West in the central region.
