The event aims to enable thousands of street children, head porters and other less privileged people throng the venue to eat, drink, party and get medical screening and basic medical supplies.

A Director of Love Nest Foundation, Mr. McBen Adu-Asamoah, presenting the items, said that the motive is to provide a support system which meets the needs of the less privileged in Ghanaian communities. He mentioned that as part of Love Nest Foundation's Mercy Project, the organisation found the Joy Easter Soup Kitchen as a means to reach out to the less privilege in society.  He added that Love Nest Foundation is grateful for such opportunities and assured that volunteers from the organisation will be present at Sunday's event to render their services.

Joy FM’s Drive Time host, Lexis Bill and Host of Open House Party, DJ Black took the items on behalf of the station.

Lexis Bill expressed gratitude to Love Nest Foundation for their immense support towards the project.

Project Director at Love Nest Foundation, Mr. Francis Nsiah who spoke to PrimenewsGhana also disclosed that the group will be organizing a Gospel concert under its Mercy Project to raise funds to support some orphanages as well as distribute Scripture and Christian literature, provide Clothes, Food, and Educational Materials.

Love Nest Foundation, a human centred-advocacy organisation founded in 2011, seeks to provide a place for the less privileged in Ghanaian communities, especially Orphans, Widows, disabled and the youth hence their contributions towards the upcoming Easter Soup Kitchen.
