NPP Conference: NDC fails to honour invitation

The largest opposition political party, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) failed to present a delegation to give a solidarity message to the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) at its 26th National Annual Delegates Conference in the Eastern Regional capital, Koforidua.

 All the opposition political parties, except the NDC, were present to give solidarity message to the ruling NPP.

Opposition parties such as the Convention Peoples Party (CPP), the Progressive Peoples Party (PPP), Peoples National Convention (PNC), National Democratic Party (NDP) and Liberty Party of Ghana (LPG) were all represented.

A moment after the CPP representative had finished the address,  the stage was set for the NDC,  MC, Anthony Abayifa Karboo said: “it doesn’t look like our opponents, NDC are here so we shall move on with the programme”.
