One person has been confirmed dead and a police officer shot in renewed clashes between two rival Bimoba families at Sayuoo, a community near Napkanduri in the Northern region Sunday afternoon.

According to Starr FM's Eliasu Tanko, the clash which was triggered by a misunderstanding over a parcel of land, has also caused the torching of several houses.
Calm has since been resotred after personnel of the anti-terrorist unit of the Ghana Police and the Military got to the village.
