Vice President pledged to be a Patron of the Weija Leprosarium and offer them the necessary support.
He asked the families of the cured lepers and the society to avoid stigmatising them and rather show them affection.

He entreated individuals and corporate entities in the country to contribute their widow’s mites to supporting the less privileged society in order to attract God’s blessing.

Rev Father Campbell, a Patron of the Weija Leprosarium, noted that stigmatisation was one of the major challenges facing the cured lepers, and urged the media to help sensitise the public on the need to embrace and integrate them into the society.
