General Secretary of the People’s National Convention, Atik Mohammed has called on the President-elect, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to expose to Ghanaians the kind of rot in the economy created by President John Mahama and his NDC government when he sworn into office come January 2017.

He added that it will be prudent for Ghanaians to know up to date every mess created by outgoing government, so as to help the citizenry appreciate the quantum of work on him as he manages the affairs of the country.

Speaking on Peace FM the PNC General Secretary urged Nana Addo to "tell us the mess he has inherited. Every detail of it . . . to the minutest detail, mess that they’ve left behind and all that basis, proceed to invite Ghanaians to join him and his administration to make things better . . . The reason we voted against these people is because we felt that things were messy. Things were not moving on well and you cannot expect those things to be fixed in a short period. It needs time. They need to even study the extent of the mess.”

He additional counseled opposition parties to stop pressuring the government in waiting because the result of managing the affairs of a state cannot be seen in just a day
"pessimism at this point is not helpful. The person hasn’t even started working but we’re saying it won’t work. I think we should give this administration some grace period. Some 3 months, 6 months; and look at how they’re going to start and how they’re going to end.”
