President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has condemned the terror attack in Manchester which killed 22 and others injured over 50 others.
The president described the explosion at an Ariana Grande concert at the Manchester arena as despicable and cowardly acts.
The president in a tweet extended his condolences to the affected families.
Meanwhile, the "Islamic State" group (IS) has claimed responsibility for the attack, which police say was carried out by one man using an improvised explosive device.
The extent of IS involvement, however, is unclear.
Late Tuesday morning police added that they had arrested a suspect linked to the bombing.
