Prez Akufo Addo appoints John Kumah as CEO of YES

President Nana Akufo Addo has appointed New Patriotic Party (NPP) activist and Lawyer, John Kumah to take over from Mrs. Helga Boadi as the substantive CEO of Youth Enterprise Support (YES).

The Youth Employment Support (YES) was established under the Youth Employment Act 2015 (Act 887) to empower young people to contribute meaningfully to the socio-economic and sustainable development of the nation.

YES, an initiative of President John Dramani Mahama, is dedicated to growing Ghana's economy by tapping into the creativity and innovativeness of young entrepreneurs through the provision of financial and expert advisory support for their businesses.

The Youth Employment Support is a multi-sectoral initiative functioning under the Office of the President and drawing collaborative support from key agencies including the National Board for Small Scale Industries (NBSSI), National Youth Authority (NYA), Ministry of Youth & Sports, Ministry of Trade & Industry, and Ministry of Finance.
